They are stitched into the bag and will last for years to come!!!  They have a slightly longer drop than the originals (13”), but still allow the bag to be neatly tucked under your arm or carried over your forearm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe top edge has been stitched \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eby hand\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e with black leather lace, and the cinch straps have been replaced with black braided leather.  They still can be adjusted.  The cinch vachetta was dyed black to match the rest of the bag. This is a larger bag that measures 12.5″ W x 11.5″ H x 6.5″ D (measured at the bottom of the bag)  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe inside canvas liner is in superb condition.
