The Loon - Vintage LV Monogram Mini Backpack in Black

This Loon was created from an authentic Louis Vuitton Backpack Mini Montsouris backpack that's been saved and is prettier than ever!  The vachetta bottom had stains on it, so I redyed all of it black, and she looks perfect now. 

The top of the bag was missing its vachetta trim, so I hand braided black leather trim onto it.  The front buckle part of the bag was broken, so I removed it and added a fun silver/gold concho. You can see the pinholes where the buckle part was removed (see pics). Now, she just magnetically snaps closed now, which is way more handy. This is a smaller bag, coming in at W8 x H8 x D4".  

The bag's exterior coated canvas is in amazing shape! The leather backpack straps were not in good condition, so I've replaced them with new black leather straps that can be easily adjusted to whatever length you desire.  You can also remove the straps and carry the bag by the tiny handle!! The vachetta on the handle does have small cracks in it, but still has TONS of wear left (please see pictures). The brass eyelets have been polished and are beautiful! The canvas liner inside is clean! I've replaced the cinch strap with a new beautiful black leather one.

This bag has a date code of SP0917 which indicates it was produced in France in January of 1997.  She's got a ton of life left in her and is ready for a new owner!!
