The Junco Wristlet - Upcycled LV Monogram

Here is another adorable Junco! This bag is made from an authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Bucket Pouch that is about 7.5 inches long. It has been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for a new owner!!

This perfect little shoulder/wristlet bag is from a larger Louis Vuitton Bucket (GM) bag.  It is in great shape now that the interior Vuittonite (see below) was scrubbed out, leaving a flannel lining. She's now ready for use!! (The date code was unreadable prior to scrubbing).

I’ve added a vachetta leather strap that can be used for tucking the bag over or under your arm. The drop on this strap is 12", and the overall length is 24 inches. This strap may also removed.    

This little Junco measures is L 7.55 x W 4 x D 0.75" and is perfect for throwing a phone, a few cards or cash into ... and/or something to give your outfit a fun flair.

This bag will be shipped with a BBV dust cover (either organza or cotton) and will ship Priority mail or UPS.

About Vuittonite:  Prior to 1997, Louis Vuitton lined many of its bags with a vinyl-like material known as Vuittonite. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag. If your Vuittonite is starting to get sticky, try putting some talcum powder inside, lightly coating it.  It works!!!
