The PM Quail Shoulder/Crossbody - LV Monogram in Black (TWO straps)

This beautiful bag was created from an authentic Louis Vuitton Cartouchiere PM Crossbody Bag. If you haven't heard it before from me, I'm obsessed with the black/monogram look, and you will be too!

The front flap had been heavily worked on to repair the typical buckle clasp, but I think they gave up. I re-stitched and braided all of the exterior edges by hand with black leather lace. The strap was missing on this bag, so I've replaced the D-rings and the straps myself.  I've focused on silver hardware, but it has a tinge of gold as well.

There is a gorgeous black leather shoulder strap, along with an adjustable black leather crossbody strap. Two straps, you have so many options with this cutie!!!

The vachetta leather around the edges was all dyed black, making this a STUNNING piece.  The leather is in good condition and took the black leather dye very well. There are only a few cracks. The typical Cartouchiere bag has an inconvenient buckle clasp, so I've replaced it with a magnetic clasp. The sewing marks of the original closure are invisible from the outside of the bag because of the beautiful silver/gold concho I've chosen, but they do remain on the inside. The interior LV leather is in great condition. Please check all pictures! The date code on the bag is "862" which indicates this was produced in February of 1986!

All of the work done to this purse was done by yours truly!!! Isn't she a beauty?  The bag is small and measures about 6x6x2.5" and is sure to be one of your favorite go-to bags!!
