The Egret Crossbody/Shoulder Bag - Vintage Monogram Multicolor

This beautiful bag comes with two straps, one for wearing her as a crossbody, and one for wearing her as a shoulder bag.  This bag was created from an authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolor Sologne.

This medium sized bag is adorable and versatile, you can wear this with anything!  The bag was in a dingy shape and had to be carefully cleaned.  The canvas print is in good shape, however the white parts have some staining that I could not remove. There are differences in the white color on the flap, please make sure to see pictures.

The vachetta was in rough shape, so I needed to dye it navy blue, but I love how it makes the rest of the bag pop!!! Typically the straps are attached to the vachetta on the side of the bag, but they were ripped off.  I carefully trimmed the vachetta and added new brass strap holders on the sides. I modified the original strap to have clasps, so the original look is almost perfect (the crossbody strap can be adjusted from 46.5" to 56" long).  Adding the strap holders also enabled me to put a fun multicolor resin strap on that enables it to be used as a shoulder bag!! 

The interior has been cleaned, but is slightly worn.  The date code is VI0054, which indicates it was produced in France in May of 2004. There is a small slot pocket inside, and a roomy interior with enough room for just the right amount of things, coming in at W9.8 x H7.5 x D2.8".
