The Junco - Vintage Monogram in Gold Wristlet

Introducing the Junco, this bag is made from an authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Bucket Pouch (this is the original length, not the longer 27).  It's been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for a new owner!!

This bag was in great shape, but the Vuittonite (see below) was very sticky, so I scrubbed it out, leaving a soft flannel material that's clean and ready for use!! The original chain from the bucket bag was missing, so I replaced it with a gold chain that has "LV-like" clasps.  

This little Junco measures is L 6.75 x W 4 x D 0.75" and is perfect for throwing a few cards and cash into ... throw it in a larger bag, or carry it into the bar to give your outfit a fun flair!!

About Vuittonite:  Prior to 1997, Louis Vuitton lined many of its bags with a vinyl-like material known as Vuittonite. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag. If your Vuittonite is starting to get sticky, try putting some talcum powder inside, lightly coating it.  It works!!!
