This Loon was created from a LOUIS VUITTON Monogram Montsouris GM backpack that's been saved and is prettier than ever!  The vachetta bottom had torn from the bag, and the previous owner tried to superglue it back on (never do this!!).  I had to remove the bottom and replace with another piece of monogram.  The original vachetta bottom is securely glued to the inside of the bottom monogram piece to give it more substance.  Then I hand stitched it all back together.  I also hand stitched the top flap to coordinate with the bottom and added a matching braided cinch strap. It looks fabulous now!!! This is a large bag has got enough room for ALL the things, coming in at W12 x H14.5 x D5.1".  

The bag's exterior canvas is in excellent shape!  Remember the superglue story?  Well, there was a drop on the front pocket that I've done my best to remove , but you can see a little smudge.  I considered adding a button or embellishment to the front, but decided to keep it as is.  If you'd like the embellishment added, please reach out after purchase so I can show you options.  There also is a tiny bubble in the monogram at the very bottom of the bag that is also from the superglue, but is barely noticeable.  The vachetta leather and straps are in great condition with very minimal cracking. The canvas liner inside is insanely clean and has a pocket.  

This bag has a date code of MI0945 which indicates it was produced in France in April of 1995.  She's got a ton of life left in her and is ready for a new owner!!
