What's a baby swan called??  You guess it, a Cygnet!!  This is a smaller swan, and it is  cuter than all heck!!! 

This bag started out as an authentic Louis Vuitton Cosmetic Pouch Bag Poche Toilette 19.  This one is the perfect small crossbody, coming in at  7.5" wide by 6" tall and about 2" deep.  

This bag's exterior canvas is in GREAT condition!  The interior Vuittonite (see below) was extremely sticky, so I've removed it, leaving the bare canvas.  I took a picture of the date code prior to removal, it was SL1917 (see pic).  This indicates it was made in France in November of of 1997.  I've included an organizer inside to keep the bag's structure as well as all of your goodies in the right place.  This may be removed if desired.

The top edge is a beautiful blush pink leather lace which has been stitched by hand.  The zipper works great! I've added brass D-rings to the sides to attach the adjustable pink canvas strap that adjusts from 31-47".  It is perfect to wear crossbody and it looks JUST like an authentic LV strap!!

I've also added a decorative "LV-like" chain to the front which gives the bag a fun flair. You can even remove the canvas strap and carry the chain over your wrist.  So many options!!!

About Vuittonite:  Prior to 1997, Louis Vuitton lined many of its bags with a vinyl-like material known as Vuittonite. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag. If your Vuittonite is starting to get sticky, try putting some talcum powder inside, lightly coating it.  It works!!!
