The Fringed Robin - Black/Gold Dot Monogram Crossbody

Here's another Robin!

This is a medium crossbody bag that will fit all your goodies.  It was created from an authentic Louis Vuitton bag and a beautiful piece of black leather that has edgy gold dots on it.  The bag has enough room for just the right amount of things, coming in at 9" wide by 6.5" tall.  

The entire bag is lined in a black leather, which makes the LV canvas more substantial.  There is just one compartment inside.  The outside edges are black leather lace which have been stitched by hand.  There is also beautifully braided black leather fringe on both sides of the bag that hangs down about 8" from the bottom of the bag (this can be trimmed to your liking).  The braided 6-strand black leather strap is perfect to wear crossbody (48").  It has a flat section that sits comfortably across your body, and then moves into a round section towards the clasp.  The front closure is a matching concho snap, but can be changed out if you want something else.  The hardware is brass and is coated with PVD Black (see below for description).

What is PVD Black:
PVD means Physical Vapor Deposition.  It is a highly accurate plating process carried out in high vacuum environments at temperatures between 150 and 500 *C. It produces an EXTREMELY durable finish to prevent scratching. Typically, black hardware that is found in the marketplace is not PVD, and is generally considered a black spray paint causing it to chip and scratch off within days. PVD plating is the process used to plate high end watch hardware, golf clubs, etc., and the only successful way to make a black that will not wear off. The PVD process is more intensive and is thus reflected in the price per piece.
