Here is another Junco that's been made from an authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Bucket Pouch 27.  It's been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for a new owner!!

The zipper was missing from this bag, so I added my own flap with vachetta-colored leather stitching and a fun pop of red vegan leather inside. The flap has been riveted on the bag with brass rivets. The inside Vuittonite (see below) was in poor shape, so I scrubbed it out, leaving a soft flannel-like liner.

I added a simple gold button magnetic snap that keeps your belongings safe.  I love how she turned out!!!  I added two brass D-rings to the sides and a beautiful vachetta strap (not LV authentic, but looks JUST like it!).  The strap is adjustable from 41-49".

This little Junco measures L 7.75 x W 4 x D 0.75" and is sure to be your next favorite bag! For a video review of this bag, please see my highlight bubble called "The Junco" on IG!

About Vuittonite:  Prior to 1997, Louis Vuitton lined many of its bags with a vinyl-like material known as Vuittonite. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag.  Talcum powder can be used to slow the stickiness, or scrub it out to reveal a flannel-like liner.
