The Junco - Vintage Monogram with Turquoise Wristlet Bag

Introducing the Junco, this bag is made from an authentic Louis Vuitton Bucket Pouch.  It's been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for a new owner!!

It didn't come with the original strap, but I've added a wristlet for carrying.  The zipper wasn't functional, so I removed it and added my own flap with brown stitching and a fun leopard print on the inside.  The flap has been riveted on the bag with fun turquoise rivets. The inside Vuittonite (see below) was in rough shape, so I've scrubbed it out, leaving a soft flannel interior.

I added a beautiful turquoise concho that hides the snap that keeps your belongings safe.  I love how she turned out!!!  The wristlet strap can easily be removed to turn this into a beautiful clutch!  The click-n-go is easy to remove, and even easier to add your keys to!!

About Vuittonite:  Prior to 1997, Louis Vuitton lined many of its bags with a vinyl-like material known as Vuittonite. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag. If your Vuittonite is starting to get sticky, try putting some talcum powder inside, lightly coating it.  It works!!!
