The Junco - Vintage Monogram Wristlet in Pale Pink

Here's another cute Junco wristlet that's been made from an authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Bucket Pouch 27. It's been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for a new owner!!

This canvas on this bag is in great shape, so I added some pale pink leather braiding to the top to give it some flair. The inside Vuittonite (see below) was a sticky mess, so I scrubbed it out, leaving a soft flannel interior.  The zipper pull and end leather pull was missing, so I added another authentic LV pull, and capped the end of the zipper with a brass bar.  The zipper has been polished and now functions great. I re-coated the sides of the bag so that it now looks brand new!! I also added a small D-ring to the end so that I could attach the matching pale pink wristlet strap.

This little Junco measures is L 7.75 x W 4 x D 0.75" and is perfect for throwing a few cards and cash into ... throw it in a larger bag, or carry it into the bar to give your outfit a fun flair!!

About Vuittonite:  Prior to 1997, Louis Vuitton lined many of its bags with a vinyl-like material known as Vuittonite. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag. If your Vuittonite is starting to get sticky, try putting some talcum powder inside, lightly coating it.  It works!!!
