The Kingfisher - Vintage Monogram in Whiskey Crossbody

Introducing an all new bag....the Kingfisher!  This bag was created from an authentic Louis Vuitton Monceau 28.  The Louis Vuitton Monceau first came out in 1986 and then was re-introduced for the Spring 2013 collection.  This bag in a some ways is similar to a miniature briefcase. It has a structured frame, and it is divided into two compartments and has a secure brass flap closure.  The bag has a long shoulder strap (not LV authentic) and short top handle, so you can hold it in your hand, on the wrist or on the shoulder.... it's super trendy and cute!!!  The date code (SR0929) indicates it was made in France in 1999.

This bag has a handy front pocket plus another zippered pocket in the interior!!  The interior zippered pocket does have some vuittonite that I've wiped down, but didn't remove.  Some "flakiness" remains in the pocket.  

The bag's monogram and interior are both in excellent shape!  The side pieces were breaking loose from the stitching on the back of the bag.  Adding the whisky colored leather braiding to out outside did help secure it, but please see pics.  This bag measures W 11 x H 8.7 x D 2.8".  The key is not included with the bag, but the lock is unlocked.
