The Owl - Vintage Monogram Shoulder Bag in Black

This is an older style bucket bag that I’ve revamped into something more useable and fun!  This bag has got enough room for all the things, coming in at W12 x H9 x D3”

I took the bottom off the bucket bag and sewed it together with a nice fold on the ends with black leather lace.   The vachetta is in decent shape (some cracking), and it was all dyed black and conditioned.  I love the black stripes on this bag!  The top was also cut and resewn by hand with black leather lace. 

The bag's canvas is in really good shape!  The interior was not in as good of shape, so I've removed it, leaving the bare canvas.  In doing that, I had to cut out the bag's date code, but I will include it in the bag (date code FL0041 means it was made in France in April of 2001).  Because it has such a nice roomy interior, I've added a multipurpose organizer that fits perfect inside.  The organizer can be removed if desired.  It has a lot of pockets and a zipper that secures all of your goodies inside.  If you'd like me to add a magnetic snap to the top of the bag, I can, just reach out after purchase. I've added a new black leather shoulder strap that has a drop of 13" and a shorter brass chain for visual interest.  Both can be used as straps for the bag, and both can be removed if you want to add a favorite of your own.
