The Peacock - Vintage Mini Lin Hobo Crossbody

This design is a crowd favorite, but the pattern is unique and it's the first time I've done a Mini Lin!! Don't wait on this one, it'll go fast!!!

This beauty was created from an authentic Louis Vuitton Saumur Mini Lin bag, and was fashioned into a hobo crossbody!  It's got enough room for lots of essentials, coming in at 12" wide by 8" tall.  

LV Mini Lin is a NON-COATED canvas ...still durable, but it feels more like material.  The print is also smaller than their traditional monogram.  Since it's a material, I've lined it with vegan leather, and secured the edges to keep from unraveling.  The outside edges are black leather lace which have been stitched by hand.  There is a canvas divider inside that breaks the interior compartment into two.   There is an antique brass concho hiding a magnetic snap at the top that keeps all of your items inside.

The braided 6-strand black leather strap is definitely long enough to wear crossbody (49"). This one is a newer, more feminine style that combines the wider lace with the narrower lace.  It has a flat section that sits comfortably across your body, and then moves into a round section towards the clasp. There is a small amount of fringe after the clasp hanging down below the bottom of the bag.  The fringe may be trimmed to your liking. 

Because the longer strap can be removed from the O-ring, the short antique brass chain can be used to carry the bag on your forearm for a chic slouchy style.  Or just leave it on to give this bag a unique look! 

All of the hardware is brass.
