The Swift - Vintage Monogram Black Crossbody (2 straps!)

Introducing an all new bag....the Swift!  This bag was created from a St. Cloud GM, and what bird seems to fly the highest into the clouds?  You guessed it, the Swift!!!

This medium sized crossbody bag is adorable! The St. Cloud's are coveted for their versatility, as you can wear them with anything, and they have a handy pocket in back.  I love this style!

I've dyed all the vachetta black ... and added black leather braiding to the outside of the front flap.  This bag has got enough room for just the right amount of things, coming in at W9.5 x H9 x D2.5".  

The bag's monogram and interior are both in good shape!  There is one zippered pocket inside (small amount of wear) and an envelope pocket in the back that is 6" tall (perfect for your phone!).  Both pockets contained Vuittonite (see below), so I've removed it and now they just have soft flannel interiors.  I replaced the strap with a chain/vegan leather combo that is adjustable from 42-49", perfect for wearing crossbody.  It also looks great with the short black chunky strap, so I included that one as well!

About Vuittonite:  Prior to 1997, Louis Vuitton lined many of its bags with a vinyl-like material known as Vuittonite. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag.
